For over 20 years, we have been passionately dedicated to raising and breeding the magnificent Maine Coon cats. Our journey began in 1998 when our love for these gentle giants inspired us to start our cattery.

Our Story

Our adventure into the world of Maine Coons started when we had two young children. Despite our busy lives, including my career as a pediatric ICU nurse and being involved in our children’s activities, our love for Maine Coons never faded. We took a break from breeding to focus on family, but the dream of raising Maine Coons always stayed with us.

As our daughters grew up and embarked on their own journeys, my wonderful husband Rick encouraged me to follow my passion. In April 2021, I retired from my 35-year nursing career to fully devote myself to Salty Coons, our beloved cattery.
