HISTORY
20 Years of Devotedly Raising and Breeding Maine Coons!
Since 1998, we’ve been passionate about breeding Maine Coons. Our journey began when we had two small children, and although we had to pause our breeding efforts due to family and professional commitments, our love for Maine Coons never wavered.
Our Story:
In 1998, we started breeding Maine Coons while juggling the demands of raising two young children. With my career as a pediatric ICU nurse and my role as a room mom, we eventually had to take a break. High-quality breeding demands dedication, self-sufficiency, and a passion for the breed. When I couldn’t give it my all, I chose to pause.
A New Chapter:
As our daughters graduated and began their careers, we became empty nesters. My amazing spouse, Rick, encouraged me to follow my calling. In April 2021, I retired from my 35-year nursing career to focus entirely on Salty Coons. My background in pediatric nursing has been invaluable, equipping me with the knowledge to care for our kittens’ health and well-being.
Our Commitment:
Over the years, we’ve owned numerous Maine Coons and, thanks to my medical education and hands-on experience, I have developed a deep understanding of the breed. Maine Coons are my favorite breed, and I am committed to providing them with the best care possible.
Our Cattery:
Our cattery has grown, and so have the needs of our cats. We take pride in hand-selecting, buying, importing, and raising our breeding parents from Europe’s top breeders. Our cats are internationally recognized for their quality.
